Dear do you have any idea about the exact number of seats for css-2009? I have heard that there are around 300 seats. Do you have any clue about it? Waiting for your reply.

I read in the Daily Jhang a while back that the number of seats in 2009 case will be 300.

Now this means that 150 will belong to Punjab. And, if we add say 20 more from the merit area, then approx. 170 seats will fall to Punjab.

ya,but the competition in punjab is also very high..as the number is around 600 who passed from punjab..

following are the details:-
serial province passed in written no of seats
1. punjab 650 150
2. Sindh(U+R) 100 55
3. N.W.F.P 80 35
4. Balochistan 35 15
5. NAFATA 35 15
6. AJK 20 10
Merit= 20 x vaccancies
