asif ijaz,

the stp of 37th common psp officers began on 17th november 2010. after one week of orientation classes, we were sent to district attachment for two weeks. all of us were sent to various districts of punjab and k.p.k. the purpose of the attachment was to study the working of police from a civilian perspective. from tomorrow our presentations on field attachment will start. the end of presentations will mark the end of development phase. after eid holidays, our legal course will start. apart from that, our official dress code from tomorrow is police uniform.

the routine nowadays is:

pt from 6.00am - 6.30am
parade from 7.00am - 8.00am
classes from 8.45am - 2.00pm
obstacles/parade/weapon handling from 4.00pm - 5.00pm

the psp stp is actually called initial command course (icc). ours is 13th icc. it starts from stp of 8 months at npa followed by field training for 6 months, 6 weeks elite training, 1 month of passing out from npa. icc is by far the longest training course offered to any cadre of css.
