when someone doesn't want to join the services and accept the offer of the job by not sending the acceptance letter for any reason then a seat becomes vacant and for that seat adjustment is made. e,g last male allocated from punjab has merit number 227 and if someone doesn't accept his job then the male on merit number 228 will be allocated and a new list of reallocation will be published. Similarly for instance my merit number is 182 and i'm in Info group and if 4 male above me doesn't join the group then they may offer me CTG and if i refuse then they will offer that to the person below me.

Re-allocation will be done in a week or two because the date for sending acceptance is not over yet for some groups.Estab will send the vacant seats to FPSC and FPSC will recommend back to estab.Estab will send offer letters to the concerned only.It will not be published like the original one.

dear zohaib..if reallocation is to be made in a week or so ..it mean the process of re acceptance..etc will consume the month of December ..bt as i came to know that CTP may start from 15 Dec....wt d u say..?

It wont take much time but CTP will start a week late maybe 1st of Jan.

Dear Zohaib, is it not possible to join before 1st January? Joining in 2010 will be beneficial for all of us regarding promotions at later stages.

It wont have much impact on promotion.Because for promotion, a minimum service in each grade is required.I do hope and wish that the ctp starts on time.A lot of paper work and procedural formalities are yet to be done.
