Filling the Preference column in application

Hi,

If anyone knows about the CSS 2010 admission form column # 25, in which preferred groups/ services have been asked. according to FPSC's instruction, we have to mention our preference by writing 01, 02, 03 in order of our preference n the relevant column for which we want to be considered. with this direction they have said "do not write anything against the groups/services for which you don't want to be considered"

now pls guide me.
If i give first preference to Foreign services, should i write 01 against its column and am i suppose to mention the second and third preference against other groups/ services as well?

having little confusion.

please guide.

Hello,

I am not an authority on form completion or its queries but I believe you need to mention all those groups for which you wish to be considered, If your First choice is Foreign Service then Write 01 against it, if your Second choice is DMG write 02 and if you do not wish to be considered for Income Tax then left it blank.
I hope it will help.
It is my personal undertstanding, if wrong please correct me.

Thanks.

preference

wow, I have submitted my application today at FPSC Izloo,

I have given my preference by filling all the columns from 1 to 12, as per my priority, but the idea to left unfilled the box of least choice came to me quite late. I left no any box unfilled.

group choice

Well mostly people fill out all the boxes, from 1 to 12. Very few who would want to leave any group. So basically allocate a number to every group in your order of preference.

There are groups that one is highly desirous of joining, but if you are not able to attain that group, will you not want to join any other service group????
I would personally like being a CSP whichever group it is , but yes there are a couple of groups that I am very keen about.

So, fill out all the boxes in your order for preference, and only if you would not want a specific group( i believe alot of girls would not want to be part of Police Service) then dont number it.

I think you are confused to write down and fill all the boxes. As per my own understanding, I have selected all my preference from 01 to 12 by allocating against all the departments in the order I prefer to serve. I think, You should also mark/select your preference in the same fashion.
