While I had to rethink over my optionals for CE2011 exam, I began with Journalism and carried an autopsy of this fatal subject. The findings may surprise you people even a degree higher.

I checked many Mark Sheets by randomly putting Roll Nos. on FPSC's website. Among many, I found 67 candidates who had opted for Journalism. I Then listed all those in excel since I had to analyze narrowly. Here is what I found;

Out of those 67;
- 26 had scored below 40 marks
- 6 had scored between 50-57 marks
- 4 had shockingly scored below 20 marks (12, 17, 17, 19)
- Rest were hanging in forties

I made up my mind to switch Journalism with either International Law or Muslim Law since I found both pretty scoring especially the former.
Well you're rite but every year few subjects are taken up with harsh results. This titme it was journalism's turn....Let me tell you bro, one of the biggest reason behind this is that ppl have taken jrnlzm very easy. They hardly give a week as it is very easy bla bla bla. In that essence they have taken it very general ultimately they fail to deploy journalistic terms and its technical language in paper. This time examiner has killed all those who have tried to be extra general and creative with this subject......
Another reason may be that many of the students, when the start working out for their subject. Every tom dick and harry is keeping journalism at top priority to be sure-shot easy prey... Hence it tdestroyed ppl badly

Hamza u r rite. But it doesnt mean ppl shud be afraid of the subject and they shud replace it thinking that they are not gonna take marks in journalism next year. Rather they should prepare it with different angles. If thousands of students failed in journalism then you can not deny the fact that hundreds passed in it as well including me. There is a cruel fact that ppl need to be typically technical too the subject as well which is lacking on their part.

A very simple instance is that, last year a girl scored 188 in islamic history and avg of islamic history score had fallen between 115-140 which was unbleivable.... but this year it is turning out to be nightmare as avg has fallen badly b/w 70-100......So its a fact that every year few subjects are on hit list, you never know which subjects are they

So dear fellows!!! i would request you all humbly that do not be afraid and do not change your subjects as well. What you feel just do that....

Regards
