Varies from a person to person. But based on my own experience, even if you study 6~7 hours per day, it has to be with dedication and complete focus of your mind. For me it is rather hard to concentrate on two things together i.e. working on a job etc and preparing for the exam. So if you could dedicate the last 4 or 5 months altogether to the CSS, you certainly shore up your chances of success. Cheers.

First of all lt me clarify sumthing,N I hope my worthy colleagues will second my thots..ITS NOT ABT THE NUMBER OF HOURS U STUDY,ITS ABT THE AMOUNT OF WORK U DO..I started studying srsly in October..N I never counted the hours I worked..What I did was that I divided my time(5 months) into the number of revisions I needed to do..then Id allocate the number of days to be given to cover one subject inside that revision..For instance..lts say that I wud allocate 4 days to Pak Affrz 1st revision..At the start of a day,I wud write down the topics I wud have to cover each day..n I mean it..if I wrote it down for a day I HAD to do it..lts say I dcide to do all the reformers n movements n War of 1857 plus 2,3 other small topics in a day..I wud just embark upon covering them then..no mtr how many hours it took,I had to do dis inside THAT day..n the 2nd day Ill dcide upon the topics for that day n so on...N dis approach, for me,really paid off..U can sit around 18 hrz a day wid a book doin absolutely nothing..So I learnt that its the AMOUNT OF WORK,NOT THE NUMBER OF HOURS..!

I don't think number of hours matter much, I am more interested in knowing how you people did in the MCQs of CE 2010, specially Islamiat, CA, PA and Geography. If you did well, what books covered the objectives for you guys?

Well you can start by sharing links, telling us about your favorite and most useful websites, link some information with some question that appeared in the CE-2010 so we can see the connection etc, will be very helpful
