I didnt prepare mcqs it ws just through general reading that i got them. No specific books i read like the most candidate do, I read PARTISANS OF ALLAH Jihad in south Asia by AYSHA JALAL, besides CLASH OF CIVILIZATION BY SAMUAL HUNTINGTON, HISTORY OF POLITICAL THOUGHT BY SABINE, A LONG WALK TO FREEDOM BY MANDELA, AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MARTIN LUTHER KING, AUTOBIOGRAPHIES OF GREAT STATESMEN, DIFFERENT SOCIAL, POLITICAL ECONOMIC, RELIGIOUS IDEOLOGIES above all I developed my own conviction and my own counter arguments which helped me to answer the questions from differnt dimensions.

same here...I feel like killing the man who checked journalism papers..wts wrong wid him..it wa such an ez paper that nobody shud have got less than 60 n here I see 40s n 30s..this sickenind SCORING TREND shud be done away in CSS..u got such amazing scores ine.history n arabic n on the other hand u got sch pathetic scores in Indian history n journalism..dats just not fair..this is not a competitive examination..its a bloody game of tambola..bullllshittttt!!

i got 128 in physics and the books that i consulted for physics are ilumi for bsc students its a guide sort of book with the outside in green colour

and then haji arshad ali ki book for bsc

and musadiqs books of bsc.
these are thermo, electricity ,nuclear,mechanics

and vector anaylsis book of za bhutti and sham series and i followed the old papers for vector portion.

Beside sharing this DMC with you people, I want to share my feelings also.
This is the first time in life that I have been failed in examination. Seriously I have given my last drop of blood for this examination, but still I have been enlisted in the failure list.

Behind the scene, story is:
My English was not up to mark for CSS, so I worked on these two English papers hhmmmmm almost 4 months. I solved all past papers of composition and wrote many essays that were checked by professional teachers. Despite that fact, I secured 29 marks in essay and just 40 marks in composition.
In addition to that, I had 2 days gap for journalism paper during examination. In that duration I revised journalism many times. I had good grip on that. As all of you know, almost all mcqs were repeated in journalism paper, so out of 20 mcqs my 19 mcqs were absolutely correct where as FPSC gave me just 8 marks out of 80 theory marks.

We all are in the same boat. Especially Prissygirl, deadlydoctor, courageneverdies, noor_2009 and many others that this is not the end of life. This is just the part of life. As there is Chinese proverb:
" The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trails."
