@rishzzz:well dear first off-thanks a ton for your kind comments -i presumed that i'm never gona read a comment on my viva but aaj i read ur post and it is a pleasant surprise indeed!...now a few more tips:for journalsim and sociology-1,Sociology:definitions are the point where they counter us.aik k baad aik puchtey hain so try to go through all the significant ones.andfor journalsim i believe wat u need to knw is:THe world's most famous war-correspondents:in electronic media its Christine amanopur (barkha dutt s called d indian amanopour)she is associated with ABC news chanel.and in print media its none other than Rober fisk-th man who makes me alive thru his words as his words are always meaningful n worthreading.He dspatched regularly from Egypt in d revolution days n all of his posts were a total treat!he is associated with th independent n u can serch out for him in Dawn as well cuz his articles are syndicated there..
Now washington post is a must read for all those who wanna have a contenment abt their preparation.The nation U.S 's editor Katrina vanden heuvel writes a weekly column for th w-post on every thursday.U need to follow her cuz all of her articles present to us the flip side of the EXceptional America
Michael gerson,eugene robinson n richard cohin all are worth-reading.one can have a dis-agreement with their thoughts but to read them is a blessing especially in regards of th viva preparation because they give us a holistic approach to th World-scenario n politics.rafiq zakaria has all his articls on hs web page,u can read them there n it wud be of some help-forsure!
NOW lastly,i second you-YEs they were more into hearing me n they allowed me to speak as lng as i wanted n it was very encouraging.i narrated ALL the tough couplets in english n felt like they were contented esp.wen i iterated EXISTENTIALIM in d explanation of d frst couplet by BD,he nodded his head n it looked like he was contented with my understanding...I thank you again for your very kind comments on my viva and i hope n pray that they grade me the way they graded your fortunate friend amen...I by the grace of GOD -the saviour of all-had a real good time thereALLAH aap sab ki madad karey-amen...
