one thing that i deadly missed in my attempting the questions was relevancy and vibrant expressions in my language that could punch the head at once. in quest of recovery to my deficiency i ventured on countless directions there by wasting a bulk of my time but none proved effective at last. i was then tendered a fabulous piece of advice by a friend of mine. He laid an special stress to come in tight contact with the work of famous columnists. through research papers , contemporary affair books , journals, and web sites. i went through some. and i really felt a sea change. i therefore pass the same advice on to you. here are some sources. 1.dawn editorial 2.international crises gourp 3.ipri 4.contemporary affairs book editor in chief "imtiaz shahid" 4.T.v talk shows particularly those in which analysts sit to discuss the issues wishing you all the best |

Dear Pureapak! I had suggested these sources of information and knowledge for new aspirants of CSS. Although you are right about the problem, this problem happen with most of guys in papers. It's nice to refer books for that problem. But remember that the books will just give suggestions, and it may be called necessary guidelines. It's up to individual to follow and practice these guidelines; so that it should lead to perfection. But someone will be spoon feeding them, but remember that just struggle will lead to the perfection.

Dear Masood Don't you think that watching above mentioned programs would take too much time? All the items in the discussion would not be relevant to exam. I would suggest the following, 1. Dawn daily (A must source) 2. Contemporary Affairs by Carvan publishers (Quarterly) 3. Journal of Strategic studies Islamabad (Quarterly) 4. Jehangeer world times magazine (Monthly) Having gone through these resources if you do well, you can get very good marks in exam. Some people also advice Contemporary Affairs by Imtiaz Shahid however that book does not seem to me better then CA by Carvan publishers. In Imtiaz shahid book sometime he publishes stories without taking its worth into account.
