Journalism-2011 and scores in 2010.
Slam
i request all those candidates who opted for journalism in 2010 to guide in respect of overcoming the drawback which wreaked low marks in 2007 i opted for journalism n i got 65 without much effort. and paper of 2010 was almost on the same line as of 2007 but why such low scores? sole question is what should be done in 2011 to gain score? Thanks |

Here is the answer bro
While I had to rethink over my optionals for CE2011 exam, I began with Journalism and carried an autopsy of this fatal subject. The findings may surprise you people even a degree higher.
I checked many Mark Sheets by randomly putting Roll Nos. on FPSC's website. Among many, I found 67 candidates who had opted for Journalism. I Then listed all those in excel since I had to analyze narrowly. Here is what I found; Out of those 67; - 26 had scored below 40 marks - 6 had scored between 50-57 marks - 4 had shockingly scored below 20 marks (12, 17, 17, 19) - Rest were hanging in forties I made up my mind to switch Journalism with either International Law or Muslim Law since I found both pretty scoring especially the former.

If you are confident, (not over confident), then GO FOR IT!

FPSC is playing with the future of candidates by marking irrationally in order to discourage candidates from opting some subjects excessively.
Journalism has been getting hit since 2009 and same cruel trend may continue till 2011. Journalism may revive its positive trend in 2012. The time when candidates will avoid opting journalism FPSC will relax its marking and will revive its importance. See the fate of Islamic history. Compare 2009 and 2010.

it is highly incomprehensible that even a dumbhead wont be scoring 50+ is such a halwa journalism paper..the examiner has delibrately tampered wid da scores..I was expecting nuthing less than 80 in jrnlsm n now im expecting sumwhere near 60..if they had to be strict they sduh have done the same wid e.history n int law etc as well..dat wud hve balanced it out!
