Surprisingly i got 51 in journalism,the thing i wrote was only my analysis not the bookish material.

a friend of mine got 58 and another person i know got 61..i know these scores r not gud enuf still they r better than the ones received by students of islamic and indian history..

Assalam-o-Alaikum!

Well one cannot deny the fact that trends in CSS do matter alot, and also the recent uncommon shift in examiners' marking criteria for different subjects. But all you need is to understand a subject as a whole field and its technical aspects.

A handy tip for journalism is to look at the subject as an instructor(or a professor) would do.
  • simplify the matter,
  • use analytical tools,tabular data & illustrations,
  • present your opinion in the words of subject specialists,
  • and stick to the matter,
  • also avoid writing long paragraphs,use bullets where necessary

i got 51 marks in CSS 2010 effortlessly, without having any prior experience of studying this subject.
Just keep on working but in right direction using right tools.

I literally did 20 mcqs perfectly correct , even then i got 42 marks .
My Roll 7643.
I made notes from three books and not only prepared them well but also did my paper quite well.
I am still confused on my result.
What I think that FPSC has deliberately done this to discourage students from opting it in future as it had become most opted subject now-a-days.

I have said a sweet good by to Journalism and have opted Punjabi.....

well its a huge decision still pending to be made...........

specially when a person attempting 19 correct mcq's nd thinking that journalism ws his best attempted paper ov all nd yet getting 33 marks.... i need allot ov courage to opt journalism once again for 2011 ....
