What if someone has a foreign degree?

With the equivalence letter from HEC suffice alone or a copy of original foreign degree needs to be attached with the letter?

mb raja dharejo Sunday, November 28, 2010 04:13 PM

1. A candidate must hold at least a Second Class or Grade “C” Bachelor degree in any faculty of one of the Pakistani Universities or an equivalent degree or comparable educational qualifications of a foreign University. (The candidate must have acquired the requisite qualification, on or before 1st January, 2010).
2. A candidate who has obtained a Third Division (or ‘D’ grade) in his/her Bachelor’s Degree will be eligible for the Examination in cases where he/she has obtained a higher Division in Master’s Degree.
3. The decision as to which foreign degrees or comparable educational qualifications are equivalent to corresponding Pakistani degree rests solely with the Commission.
.....foreign degree copy is compulsory. HEC equivalence should be attached. otherwise, it will b asked later on.

I have a question with regards to Point no. 11 (V) (a) at

http://www.fpsc.gov.pk/icms/admin/documents/forms/Instructions.pdf

which states that degree holders from private institutions must reproduce a recognition certificate from HEC. Can anyone tell what it is and where can I get it from?

@ Mussa & Tauqir Mehmood

Will We only mention our education which has been completed or we have to also mention our education that is still in progress????

Second question is that I have also cleared PGD-IT, should it also be mentioned or not? Please clarify these....

Some more queries on form

What does this clause of the form means?

19. Full particulars of the near relations, if any i.e. father, mother, brothers, sisters, first uncles and first relations in law who are/were in Government service of Pakistan or elsewhere, specifying the posts held and where posted.

Moreover, do we need to mention our professional qualifications as well?

If one is working in a private organisation, i think there is not need to provide any docuemnt in this connection. Is it?

Regards

I would like someone to clarify Point no. 11 (V) (a) as asked earlier by mani1.

Please dilate what do they mean by 'degree holders from private institutions'?

Are they talking about 'Private Institutions/colleges affiliated with Government Universities' or it referred to the 'Private Universities'?
