Here is what i felt..

Essay..

For essay i prepared women topic in Pakistani perspective and luckily it appeared in paper too.. my paper Allhamdullilah went good.. wrote of 1300 words.. My suggestion to upcoming aspirants is revolve ur essay preperation around 4 topics.. women.. democracy.. islam.. terrorism.. These are more than enough..

Composition..

My dream paper.. so much happy i was after the paper that i was flying in the air (imaginatively not really)... Allah ka ehsaan hay paper went extremely well.. My recommendation is that make question wise strategy for this paper.. like maser the rules of precis.. sentence correction.. direct/indirect.. idioms etc.. Vocabulary question is open question.. word can come from anywhere so dont waste ur time in memorising SAT ot TOEFL word list..

EDS..

Allhamdullilah again a gud1.. U must revise previous years mcqs .. they are repeated to an extent of almost 20%.. And for subjective portion make ur guess paper in light of previous papers.. Most important are Solar system, energy, plastics, camera/eye, Genetic engineering, scientists.. U must attempt abbreviation question because it carries cash marks.. abbreviations from previous papers are enough.. no need to cram entire glossary of science..

C.Affairs..

I was mistaken in few mcq,s but it was again a good paper..
Mcq's from previous 5 years u must revise and subjective portion should be dealt with topics like afghanistan, iraq, uno, SCo, Pak-India, Internal issues, education, agriculture and industry and millitary rules..

Pak.Affairs.. my mcqs in this paper were excellent.. subjective was a bit unique type but overall it demanded same old information of Sir syed, Jinnah, Iqbal, Sufis etc and almost every question other than it was general.. It was my gud paper but i cant say a very gud1..

Islamiyat.. i did extreme prep for this subject.. and more i learned the more i loved my religion.. U should seek topics like ummah, women, ijtehad, Holy Quran and some Islam related issue.. if u cover these topics than you will Inshallah get through.. For mcqs i must say they are very open type.. can come from anywhere.. So in short -- dont spend much time on them..
1 more thing -- Dont write irrelevant Ayats and Ahadis.. they will get u no marks.. as per my own paper -- i didnt write even a single Aayat or Hadees-Shareef..

Journalism .. The paper was completely out of books.. U had to have a general approach in that.. My suggestion is that cover all topics prescribed in syllabus and use them accordingly as references while answeing ur question..
Questions regarding Zamindaar newspaper and public relations were from book but they still had a general approach..
U must revise previous year mcqs..

Sociology.. This paper was again a very lush and lovely paper.. Inshallah expecting 60+ ..
Its mcqs came from theoritical part (sociologists, theories, ideas) and theoritical part had some general but more crammed questions.. i wrote to the point answers and in a organised way..
I thinj Javed Jaskani book is enough and missing topics u can have from wikipedia..

Sindhi.. mother tongue.. easy.. Inshallah gud score..

Public adminstration.. Allhamdullilah it was a gud paper.. though i was knowing answer to 3 only but i did 4th question with gud approach.. I must say that u people should should and should study its first chapter.. Sultan khan book.. the first chapter had almost 3 long questions and 12+ mcqs..


Psychology..
2 papers ..

For paper 1 u must study Nervous sytem, endocrine, schools of thought and other history of Psychology, personality, learning and motivation.. it is more than enough..
And remember S.K.mangal book is very good and organised.. i found it more better than feldman.. i dont know about zimbardo book..

For paper 2 u must cover therapoes, intelligence, drug abuse, crime, developmental psycho, Psychosomatic and psychoneurotic disorders..

Mcqs in both papers were easy and if u study dedicatedly u can easil answer 15+ mcqs in each paper..

as per my experience my paper 1 was awesome and paper 2 was a good one..

In the end .. Please pray 4 my result.. I have lot of emotions attached with it..

Aslam o Alaikum

Can anybody share me about the experience of CSS 2011. I too appeared and found it easy to deal with all papers. I am hopeful of success. What is your opinion if someone is satisfied with his/her exam, will result be in his favor or this is only day-dreaming and qualifying exam much more tough to clear.
Another thing, I am from Punjab and I heard that competition among Punjab candidates is always tough and candidate passing with average marks, would not expect anything?

Hello all,let me share my expeience. I appeared in css 2011,my first and hopefully last successful attempt. It was damn cold those days with no sleep and lots of aching body,but the experience was great. Yes,it was the game of nerves,and i `m sure only the best ones would win. I`ve evaluated my question papers and expecting around 719 to 725 average marks. This is my approximate and lesser estimate of my questions after being lot more judgemental. So,in case examiner differs from me even then it wont be less than 700 inshaALLAH. Keeping my fingers crossed. Best of luck for all of the people who have already shared their experience. Mine was also rocking. Now lets c,how things turn up,in the end Kismat Connection hona bhi zaruri hae.

ce-2011 was my first attempt and it went bad from the very first paper..u know how?
i chose essay on woman and wrote in a stright forward manner.....no arguments but concluded the essay as argumentative one....
composition was so so....precise k words ghlt count ho gaye....objective was excellent and paragraph+comprehension were also ok...

I also appeared in CE-2011 , it was my first attempt.
In compulsory papers , English Essay paper was strange in a sense as most of the topics were argumentative unlike the past years but on the average the tone of the paper was quite satisfactory :) ...Second paper ,English composition proved to be tricky in precis & comprehension point of view. The answers of the questions were almost same in the comprehension. So had to take work hard from mind:?
CA & PA papers went as per expectation especially objectives of CA were easy . But Objectives of Islamiat proved fatal for those who had less information about islamic history:nono:nono.
I covered my all optionals in short span of time because of job:huh bt the grace of Almighty Allah i did all papers without big difficulty..However i did blunder in subject selection.
According to my perception,CSS is a nerve testing exam . It can clear only those who have inner instigation & interest in it bcz interest leads to success:).
