congratulations!!
kindly suggest me books for sociology, journalism & IR you consulted for prepration...
thanks a lot. for journalism abid tihami, sociology notes plus jakharani and for ir notes plus current affairs. I suggest u to have good command over current affairs with reference to ur optional subjects as papers r getting a new trend now. if u go through the papers of 2011 u will come to know that papers r related to current affairs mostly...

i will explain every paper's strategy v soon inshaALLAH. :)
yep
Prepped in 1 month. For accounting (200 marks) only 1 day prep, journalism (3 days), forestry (3 days), EDS (7 days)
Great indeed :)
congrates bro .... & i want to know which work u say "Smart work"..???can u elobrate..??
I think 1 must need "Hard work" for loads of 12 subject...
thanks a lot, there r 12 papers with no or very less gap that is why only those get success who work smartly. hard workers find hard luck in css exams at times, as css exam's trend is changing now. SMART WORK means that u work on a very fruitful plan with less time and maximum output. u must know the scoring techniques in every paper and the art of attempting the paper. i will share all the techniques about every paper of mine inshaALLAH very soon. :)

my friend u will have to believe this as trend is changing n strategies must also be changed. i studied in FEB only means i had only 25 days n 12 complete subjects. i mentioned earlier u have to have a great plan n u must know where u r going to force the examiner to give u scores. :)

css is not just reading too much, its very tricky and technical i think rather i experimented. but i do respect ur opinion and may be others too disagree to me.

hmmm... well i had notes of SIR FIDA HUSSAIN SHAH, but i gave just a single read to them thats it. i correlated my every question of every paper to current affairs and gave examples from current situations. i did not follow examples of books which i think r obsolete now. :)
thanx bro ... i will be waiting for your post of "Smart work techniques".........
ya sure, soon i will come up with inshaALLAH :)

Felicitation
well i was among the unsuccessful aspirants in 2010 as i was short of 6 marks in Islamiat. 2011 was my 2nd but last attempt due to age factor.

I joined NOA for my 2010 attempt but for 2011 i went myself without any academy.

Honestly speaking i prepared in the month of FEBRUARY only for my 2011 attempt as i was working with a multinational pharma company n resigned from there in FEB. I had a very perfect planning as i was v short of time. i strictly followed my plan n Allah has showered his blessings upon me.

i want to add few things here. one must work smart NOT hard but the most important things r perfect planning with perfect execution, prayers of parents and friends and most importantly the POSITIVITY.

all this result into the ultimate success as we all admit the role of LUCK in css n i believe that these things r collectively called as ur luck. :)

i wish everyone a very best of luck for their success but remember FOR CSS DO SMART WORK NOT HARD WORK. This is wut i believe in...

best of luck :)
A golden tip given by my dad (who incidentally also cleared CSS with only weeks of prep. Got selected in Audit & Accounts group but never joined) which helped in ensuring my success

"Never rely on or replicate/memorize academy notes. That is exactly what thousands of other students will be doing. Differentiate yourself"
