But these techniques are really inspiring me.Some of them are already on my routine table and rest of them are going to be included.
Only one query
what do you mean by flash cards of vocabulary? They are just simple papers with words written on them or something else?

Waiting for your quick response as i am left with just 3 months..

Best of luck for the rest of the procedure.May you have the group of your choice.

Regards
thanks a lot for prays. Yes this strategy will help those who are afraid of this paper due to its wide scope. Flash cards are simple plain cards on which you write word on one face and meaning of that word on the other face. When you get up in the morning go through these cards as it really helps. Best of luck
(Buy white chart paper and cut it into small flash cards.)

that is written you are right, but it means that you must follow the question number given on the question paper. for example i attempt question number 8 first of all, then i can't write it question number 1 as i am attempting it first of all, i will have to write question no 8 there in answer sheet. you have to maintain the questions numbers according to the question paper. same is the case with every paper. by the way this strategy was shared with us by the record holder SIR S FIDA HUSSAIN which worked for him as well. i hope you are more confident about it now.

very well explained

Being an internet geek, I used web sources for compulsory and optional subjects.
Your subjects are good, but unfortunately I could only help you with 'Indo-Pak History'.
One shooting tip - don't take Indo-Pak MCQs lightly :S...look through internet sources and books!
Books I used:
Shaukat Wasti’s Indo-Pak History
Mansoor Ahmed – History of Sub-continent
And there was a third one – I will put its name later. Outa my mind!
I was working as a freelance writer during CSS preparation. However, I took a break in Feb. It was in Dec, when I decided to take CSS. I had already made commitments with my clients over completing a couple of writing gigs, so couldn't step back.
Thankyou amnatariqshah,
I am sure u can provide us all ( forum members ) with guidance for all the compulsory subjects (as they are more crucial).
If convinient plz make a thread of your own.
Who did u take guidance from? as it was ur first and last chance (due to age factor), plz correct if i am wrong.
If that's right how did u cope up with mental pressure ( u know there are many css aspirants left with only one chance ), or is it that u hv never been that touchy with regard to qualifying CSS.

You should first of all syllabus of each subject and check the topics in the index of referred books then check either one book covers all topics or more books.
