Any idea about the total no of PSP seats? I dont think they are 20. I have heard there are around 18 seats this year and no seat for Balochistan?

Is it true?

There are 4 confirmed seats for Sindh (R) having 11.6% share in the quota. Do some maths yourself for finding out PSP seats for Balochistan & other regions.

Calculation then go this way

Total seats=4/0.116
=34 to 35

That's great but not true I think.

I am not good with this quota distribution methodology. I know that Balochistan has 6% share. Can you help me find the existence of seat?

I have confirmed it for Sindh (R) & already congratulated four persons. We have got to wait a little more for a thorough picture.

Thank you, but i don'T think that's true. According to FPSC there is no PSP seat for Balochistan, where as ED believe there is one. There is always one seat of PSP for Balochistan, two would be a miracle.

Redmax, how did you confirm the seats? i don't think anyone can confirm anything rite now? I might be wrong.

Secondly, I think, and pray, that the delay in announcing the allocations might be due to discussions on increasing the number of seats. Otherwise I don't see any reason for such a long delay in announcing the allocations. The election year politics may result in any good news for the qualifiers.

However, the million, or billion/trillion, dollar question is whether the news in increase in number of seats is confirmed or just a rumour.
ED seeks advice of Fpsc in order to increase or decrease the number of posts, after the announcement of final result. I am myself a victim of not favourable advice of Fpsc to ED on this issue.

Regards,
Brother, can you shed some light about woman qouta? How it works? which seats are present for woman qouta this year and how much seats?

womans qouta is 10% of total seats (283 we suppose) that means 28 seats for women of each province? or it is 10% of province allocation? This means for sindh rural it will be 10% of 32 seats= 3 ?? ( if total seats are 283)

How many are carry forward seats for women qouta?? Im very confused, can you answer my question? thankyou

Once again it's a pure case of misconception. FPSC may have referred your case individually by applying 'Suitability' clause i.e. Not Suitable for Appointment but FPSC in general has no business as to how many vacancies are made available each year. Though FPSC keeps record of carried over seats for the fair distribution among the various entities, yet it has no say (advice if any is non-binding) in creating vacancies which is purely the job of Establishment Division.

Please get this corrected: FPSC is NOT the Appointing Authority. It only has the mandate to recommend candidates NOT appoint them. This is one of the reasons why you find at the bottom of the every notification issued by fpsc that the publication is so & so result does not entitle you to the job.

Regards,
