Relax Yasmeen..why are you getting so anxious?are you among the qualifiers of CSS-2011? Its very simple..women quota is 10% so if there are 30 fresh seats for sindh rural then as redmax said there will be 3 female seats plus there are i think 8 carry forward seats from last year.check the last year's result and you will know which groups are in carry forward seats.so you need not to worry.

P.S..rose_pak is brother not sister.

God bless you
regards.

As per fpsc guidelines, 1.14% of women quota is from total seats. e.g. 1.14% of 208 seats. But be aware it is deducted from your regional quota, as your total quota for Sindh (R) is 11.4% of the total seats, so women quota would be 1.14% (which is 10% of 11.4%).

Another way to calculate it is out of every 10 seats, there will be one for women. Better not to be confused by maths shown above.... just consider this line.

I hope you got it.

And I am a brother

it was just an example yar. 217 hi man lo. but i think out of 217, 16 seats would be deducted as merit seats. So you should calculate regional quota from 201 seats.

Thats not the case dear. If seats are 217 then regional quota directly from 217 seats not after deduction of merit seats. Now e.g punjab has 50 % quota then punjab will get 108/109 seats. Calculation this way
217/0.5= 108 or 109

I think 7.5% merit seats are taken out of total seats and than the remaining is distributed on the regions as per regional quota.

Please refer to FPSC formula linked here.
