I have heard from someone that if after allocation some seats are left unoccupied in some group, a candidate who is allocated otherwise in some other group can claim to be allocated to that empty seat. dont know how true it is.

@ raz
in punjab allocations you have placed omg group above MLCG and RAILWAY. people usually place omg at the end or second last. |

You are right. I placed OMG above MLCG because OMG has better career options than MLCG. However, candidates might have placed MLCG above OMG. In that situation allocation can be little bit revised.

Dear Raz Bhai.
You told me once that i might fall in IRS. And now the picture is quite clear that its IRS for me. Can you please once again confirm me. My merit is 141 and 5th in GBFATA. and if this is IRS then what do u say about this group in terms of power, growth and incentives? Please guide. |

I am at merit no. 48 and my preferences are PAS, PSP, FSP, PCS and IRS respectively. What is the logic behind placing me in IRS whereas my 4th preference is PCS? Kindly re-calculate keeping in view 3rd, 4th and 5th preferences. Do i have any chance of getting PAS? your kind reply awaits! Thank you!

Secondly, what impact does this ruling has on allocation in the top 30? In 2011 #3 and #17 are women and both have DMG as first pref. #3 will get DMG on Pakistan Open Merit while #17 will get DMG on Punjab Open Merit. Will it have any bearing on all males below #17? As in, will any woman below #17 (lets say # 20) automatically be 'preferred' for allocation in DMG over, lets say a male at #18? |

Nice work, but what if ppl with higher merit don't want to opt a certain group?
