I spoke to Mr. Maneka today and he says that Mauz Zafar will be joining. So again we are back to square one which means that there is only one confirmed candidate who is not joining.

the allocation chart is strange. even if 2 cadidates donot join even then your chances of allocation are narrow. afte 135 all allocated candidates are females. what is the guarantee that the 2 seats left by non joiners will go to a male candidate? the allocation rules should be made public by estab. div. and fpsc. people do so much hardwork and at the end they are left at the mercy of technicalities.

I think Allocations Rules are clear. Punjab provincial quota is exausted upto merit number 135 which includes both males and females. Punjab Female quota starts after consumption of this provincial quota and goes upto merit # 209.

According to my understanding, the rules to accommodate next in merit candidate in case of non joining by some of the allocatee are:

If a male candidate doesn't join, the seat will go to the next male candidate in merit provided that he comes from the same domicile as that of non-joining candidate. If a female candidate doesn't join, the female next in merit bearing the same domicile will get that seat.

I think now it is ok.

To make it more clear, if one of the female cadidates starting from Merit No. 145 to 211 doesn't join after last male allocated from Punjab i.e. merit # 135 then the seat will be offered to the next female candidate i.e. 113. Otherwise it will be offered to 137 and onward regardless of gender.

it is very rare that a candidate does not join civil service after being allocated. even the lower groups are far better than any other job in pakistan. i think there would be no reallocations this year and all allocated members will join.

Well, lady luck has always been very kind to me. It is her that brought me this far and I am sure she will take me even further. I had never even in the wildest of dreams imagined to be where I am so I thank Allah for His generosity. It is enough for me to know that I have been able to compete with the best of minds in our country. I am still hopeful and will be until the re-allocation is announced.

Thanks for the good wishes though!

I haven't seen any such document narrating detail of allocation rules. However, same may be determined from practice of previous years.
