Why FPSC? Why............. Seniors please help

I have a complaint. I have been allocated a centre very far from my home whereas there are centres which are very close to my place even on walking distance so is there any chance that I can change my centre? and secondly why they have done this? doesnt seem legit :(

Centres are allocated on the basis on alphabetical order. I dont think it can be changed now. Btw don't worry about such petty matters

Sir g Not worried but daily I will waste 2 to 3 hours extra due to this, nothing else.
Just called the guy at FPSC and he said that one can change centre from one city to other but not within city.

write an application to Secretary FPSC with some ''valid'' reason to change your center.Hopefully you 'll be entertained.

On a telephonic talk with a guy here in FPSC provincial office I put up the solid reason of traffic jam (which is routine on the way to this centre) and long distance from my home to centre (minimum 2 hours drive) whereas the centres near my home are on walking distane of not more than five minutes but he said that this is not a valid reason .:dd

^^
its a good idea

Update: Today I went for recce of my centre and it was hell

I was dead tired on my coming back home just by driving till that place and back due to massive traffic jam enroute and there is no adequate arrangements for parking over there so now I have decided to hire a cab for this purpose and coming back home during the two hours break is out of question so I will also be carrying a lunch box filled with light snacks etc.

I think FPSC should revise the policy of centre allocation as I have seen few guys over there who were not happy for their centre was near my home and their home was where my centre is :D

anyhow these are small pity things which are part of the game but I will request every fellow member to pay a visit to your centre if you have not seen it before so that you have a fair idea of commuting and general location of the centre.

Remember me in your prayers

Adios
