May you get PSP brother. I can understand your feelings. Otherwise FSP is better.
Personally, I like FSP more than PSP but I opted for PSP as my second preference due to family pressure. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
thanx brother. Prayers can change fate. But same time i have also accepted the destiny. |
please inform us on monday as soon as you get information. May tou get DMG, but PSP is best. I am in service and have met both seniors PSP officers and DMG officers. There is no match of PSP, absolutely no match. If you get it you will come to know in month in CSA.
Its a matter of personal choice, Sir. May Allah bless you with the Occupational group that suits you the best. :) |

May Allah bless you with the Occupational group that suits you the best. :)
yes it is a matter of choice. Some are obsessed with PSP and others place it very low in preference. But it has charm, although lot of negative things attached with it. |
Good Luck Sarfaraz Shami

DMG Seats
@Sarfraz Shami
There are 39 seats for DMG this year. Confirmed from the Establishment Division. Which means there will be 3 seats on 'open merit' using the 7.5% open merit quota rule. 50% is Punjab's share. That comes to 18seats including women quota ( I am not sure why you have not counted any minority seat for Punjab this year - is there no minority seat holder who has passed this year?? ) The 2nd positin holder is opting for PSP as he has mentioned in another thread. If we assume the 1,3,4 take up DMG then that would exhaust the all Pakistan open merit seats. Anyone after that who has DMG as his/her priority from Punjab will take up the Punjab quota seats. I think you've done a pretty good analysis. Now it just comes down to what peoples preferences are and whether Punjab merit seats are 15 or 16. |

Remaining 35. Half 17 to punjab. No minority seat this year as last 2 years there was a seat, but this time no seats based on fractional calculation(coulb be). |

Possibility is there as was a seat in 2010 and not in 2011. So 35(not 39)*.04(.02+.02)=1.4. So bright chances. Is there any AJK candidate in top 50 ? No PSP officers do not wear uniform during CTP |
@sarfaraz shami............No shami sb......The topper from AJK is at merit # 79 and has FSP as his first preference.........I fall behind him with merit # 123.So hope to b allocated either in DMG or PSP...........Sir please do tell me howz life in PSP and what about promotion in PSP.........suna hai k 19th scale k baad ap ko promotion k lia reference ki zaroorat hoti ha...........Is it true?
Why not FSP, it is worst case scenario, means i used minimum number of seats for punjab based on fractional calculation. Seats could be more than that not less. Moreover many people place custom over fsp, i also ruled out that possibility, moreover there still could be one or more candidated from other provinces too. Please share your views.
oh yes, i totally ignored the fact that many would prefer customs over fsp, anyways best of luck :) |
