Well whatever, its not about in which category I lie. I hope you lie in a better one, and you must think of those unprivileged too, who would be totally discouraged and would be left with no easy opportunities if the quota system is abolished. By the way, I do agree that this quota system is somehow benefiting some specific groups unnecessarily.

I am not discussing this issue for any fight or my personal interest, if this system is abolished, no doubt I'll be having even more chances of allocation.

So from your said words, we can conclude that we are mitigating, results (discouragement, lack of opportunities, etc) of our system flaws (corruption, inefficiency, etc) by giving quota in competition, which is obviously not just.

Can anyone please tell the average trend,how many candidates on average every year do not join their allocated gropus..if punjab merit ended at 147,whats the chances of candidates after 147.

hardly 1 or 2 from Punjab will not join. I think merit upto 149 have a bit chance but that is not confirmed.

thanks shami sb , do you have any idea how many candidates did not join last year i,e 2011 and their seats passed on to others ?

Merit 132 will not join. He has already been selected in PMS 2012.

Usman Munir Bokhari grabbed 27th position in PMS 2012-13.........He is not going to join OMG...............

Another candidate, Ahmed Saeed Manj at merit Number 97, has also qualified PMS 2012-13.........I m not sure but there are fair chances of him, not joining.........

Of course it is certain that merit 132 of CSS will not join. He considers PMS better than OMG. Recent postings of PMS officers have also proved his stance. Just after three years of training they are posted as Assistant Commissioner. Uzair Bin Rafi might also not join. He has a well settled business in Spain. But I am not sure about him. Having communicated with him, I'll inform you through this worthy forum.
