Main sirf forum rule ki baat ke rahi hoon aur main IP ki base pe baat ker bhi nahi rahi. Main ne sirf itna kaha hai keh gorchani se kahain apna DMC post ker dain, aur yeh koi itna bara issue nahi hai. DMC post na ker ke aap khud sabit ker rahay hain keh koi to rule hai jo aap ne follow nahi kiya. Mujhay is baat se koi concern nahi keh yahan members apni personal life ya kisi bhi cheez ke baray main kitna jhoot boltay hain. Meri aur arain ki identity ka admin ko bohat achi tarah pata hai. Members ki identity se hamain bhi lena dena nahi hai. Lekin jahan kaheen gar bar hoti hai, aur hamain pata lagta hai keh aik shaksh sab ko bewaqoof bana raha hai, wahan hamain investigate kerna parta hai. Members yeh zarura janna chahain gay keh marxpakistani ne gorchani ki DMC kyun post ki jab ke wo khud doosron ki DMC expose ker rahay thay. Yeh topic gorchani ki DMC se hi khatam ho sakta hai.

Apologies but many are not afraid to show their identities. I don't recall when was the last time I made an ID that wasn't my name, and there are plenty of people who find comfort in being their real life self over the internet.
So yeah, you can expect people to reveal their real identities over the internet, unless they are ashamed of it or have a good reason not to such as threat to life etc.
And moderators, be it super mods or administrators, cannot see passwords but can view IP addresses of the logged members. And these are basic features of every forum, nothing new about them being part of CSS Forums.
