Same is the case with another person whose merit number is 194 and not allocated but 196,202 etc are in postal... see the thread "passed in CE13 but not allocated please report here" . There is one logical explanation given by member although I couldn't understand it :p

It is just because of preference or quota allocated to that province

What about the rest of the candidates who qualified interview but are not allocated? What is the logic behind that? Whether they are failed in medical or some thing else?

Quota system is the major factor. I think total vacancies were 266 so 133 for Punjab (50% quota) . But if the number of qualifiers from Punjab is more than 133 so they are not given any group. In same way if qualifiers from other provinces are less than the vacancies there, then those vacancies remain unfilled . Moreover. during medical,interview and psychological test someone may be termed unfit for any particular group.

Salam Brother I am also qualified but not allocated due to merit No 217.

Brother I am damn sure you will be allocated easily in reallocation Inshallah. As from previous past practices 3 to 4 candidates do not join CTP. So next is your number for allocation.

So be hopeful and pray as much as you can. God will bless u Inshallah

Sindh(Rural)= 15
Sindh(Urban)=7
Only 4 candidates according the described post have not been allocated from Sindh... What about other 21 candidates ??

There are 220 qualified candidates and 195 allocated. This scenario might include less no: of vacancies in other provinces where more no: of candidates would have qualified than the vacancies.

Hope you get this. If you are trying to say that 195 candidates were allocated and 25 candidates were not so because of less no: of qualified candidates than vacancies in Sindh only than I guess you should blame the Government for providing quota system

Another reason for less allocation is minority seats.There were 27 seats allocated for minorities but I think just 2-3 are finally selected.

Dear this might be due to quota system.
I think last male to be allocated in Postal Group is merit # 168. After this, male quota is exhausted. This is why all allocatees in Postal Group after merit # 168 are females.

@ Ghayyur...according to the rule that u called TRICKLE DOWN effect;if a woman candidate leaves provincial merit seat in favour of woman quota seat then only another Woman will be able to get the vacated seat...no matter how many male candidates are above her in merit list..it was a supreme court ruling in 2009-10..
