Default Best of Luck! And score High by following these tips.

I wish best of luck to all the aspirants of CE-2014.
Remember you are going to compete for the most prestigious cadres of Civil Services. In order to get this feather in your cap; you need to stand distinguished from others. I want to present some tips for the aspirants to get through with flying colours:

1- The very first and most crucial paper is "Essay". While attempting essay paper, spend 10 minutes to read the topics carefully. After that decide about the topic which best suits you; with great precision. Remember, by selecting a good topic you secure almost 50% chances of passing the essay paper. After that, plan your essay on the back pages of answer sheet. I took almost 20 minutes to plan my essay. Lastly I started writing and never lifted my eye above the paper till the end of duration of paper. And remember your essay especially outline should be free from spellings and grammatical mistakes.

2- The second paper is "English Precise and Composition". Precise is the most important part of this paper which consumes almost an hour to solve. This paper should be planned well in order to secure good marks. One should solve questions of Narration, Idioms, Correction etc. in the start of paper and after that go for comprehension, expansion and then precise in the last.
Expansion should not be very lengthy neither very short. It should be decorated with quotations and phrases and equally distributed into paragraphs. If you cant remember quotations then let it be simple but it should be devoid of grammatical and spelling mistakes.

3- In the next papers try to be unique and analytical in your answers. Select questions with great care. Attempt that question first which you think you know the best. Your handwriting should be clean and legible. Paper should be free from ink blots. Your handwriting should be in straight lines despite the fact that pages will be line-less.

4- Draw diagrams where necessary and present facts and figures where necessary to create your impression.

At the end I wish all the very very best to all the aspirants. May Allah grant you success and peace of heart and soul.
Remember me in your prayers.

Regards,
Saba Asghar Bhutta

@sabahatbhutta

Thank you so much...

Add this one too, attempt your all papers with blue ink pen. It will help you in corrections by erasing with eraser pen. Do not use whito, plus use black pointer for headings.

For essay paper, start from the very first page (as per instructions by fpsc in the answer sheets-must read it firstly). Plus, after attempting your outlines, attempt your essay from the next page.

Wish you best of luck
