No, this is not what people are complaining here, your assessment about failure is genuine about most cases.

But people complain that css exams lacks reliability factor which in fact it ought to have being a superior bureaucracy induction program.
Reliability refers to the idea that an exam measuring similar abilities should produce similar sort of results, on various occasions. For example a person securing 50 in the first attempt gets awarded 15 in the later attempt, in a subject like language, which is impossible to unlearn with in an year. This is unreliability.
I anticipate a drastic reduction in other subjects for lack of revision but in language/essay a steep fall like this is difficult unless you have a flawed marking strategy or no strategy at all.

Agreed! I passed essay paper twice, in CE13 & CE14 with 53 and 44 score respectively, I focused on presentation not composition. Though, being failed in composition twice that depicts my case that I have been an average candidate in composition, yet I managed to pass it. I have a kind of pattern for essay and it works, they want us to have innovative presentation, uniqueness and research work.

I got 8 marks in essay but that was expected because i choosed wrong essay whose statement was not clear there was typo error in essay topic '' luxuries of predecessors becomes necessasties successors'' so i was sure i misunderstood the topic. But in islamiyat paper this time marking trend is strict i was not expecting 43 marks. here is my dmc :
essay= 8
english=47
everyday science=59
current affairs=31
pakistan affair=59
islamiyat =43
zoology= (37+37)
IHC= 30+43
Psychology= 50+43

Sorry to disturb you further but since you have a formula which fits their standard, kindly differentiate between a wow and traditional essay.
Because last time over 12000 people did try their WOW according to their own understanding. In the end,every one wishes to woo the marker.

Does not this hard and fast rule, which you say is ever successful actually makes it traditional ?
