Default CSS CE-2015 Appearance
Salaam,
I am wanting to appear in CSS 2015 exams. Do you think that I can prepare in this time frame and can perform well in the examination? I know that it depends on the person how much he is hardworking but senior members please comment.

Dear no need to put yourself in doldrums. You can prepare yourself in three months perfectly if u r really serious to compete this exam. I have appeared in 2014 and also willing to appear in 2015. I have not touched a single book after my first attempt but I am quite confident that Inshaa Allah my first attempt will be fruitful but if it was only assumption so I have to prepare myself for the upcoming battle. Therefore no need to be in confusion and suggestions by others. You definitely know yourself completely that how much caliber u have. So dear for the sake of experience u might appear with concrete aspirations. U will get success if u are severe serious with your career. Move ahead dude with the prayers of ur parents. Best of luck.

Thanks for your reply.

I am taking optional subjects Arabic, Geography and British History as senior CSS Officer told that these are scoring subjects. I think that I can prepare in 5 months very well, I think . But i am just conscious about Pakistan Affairs and English. As for these, I am little confused where to start

Dear for Pakistan affairs first read it into Urdu then take any book of Pakistan affairs which u think easy to understand. No need to read only those books which are recommended by seniors but difficult to digest. Apply the same strategy for the other remaining subjects too. For English exploring is too much lengthy if u want to study it. Only read the related areas of book and skip the irrelevant chapters. Jani socho zyada mat or kood jao medan me. Jitna time reh gaya hai wo sochne ka nahi hai. I hope the administrators will not block my post because of the usage if national language.

The date of registration starts from 1st October to 30th October.The exams shall be conducted in the month of February 2015.

Find your comfort zone. Select only the subjects that you find interesting. Just one warning, Do not pick English Literature at any cost.
