Default guideline required by seniors

i am aspirant for CSS 2015 exams, since i have just started preparation but problem is with certain courses which are too much lengthy like EDS and i have very little time to do with these, some friend suggested me to prepare for topics from past papers because these keep repeating, but i found that very few topics were repeating.
so seniors please let me know should i go for selected topics? if yes, then how should i opt for topics to study.

Yes You must study the 10 year old papers while study dogar's EDS Book which is very helpful for the eds paper

Default suggestion needed in areas

please seniors let me know. is it enough to prepare from last ten year papers and no need to look at topics out side those and is one book enough to refer.
also tell me if there is impact of academic qualification on marking criteria in interview.

Thumbs up

Many aspirants go with the very strategy of preparing a subject from last ten years papers. You can go with this very strategy, too. But It's not good to not look beyond any aspect that has been asked or mentioned in the pas papers. As many new developments and dimensions come with the passage of time and are also included in the upcoming exams by the paper-setters. But here is a tip for the above-mentioned strategy. Whenever you read a topic from the past papers, look and read it from each and every angle and correlate it with the present scenario.
It's your score in the written and your ability for the job that are judged and seen at the time of interview. No much worry about anyone's previous poor or average academic background.
