What to write in receipt number ? After fee submission, he only wrote "8" at the top of it. is it the receipt number ?

Yes it is challan number to be filled in when after successful completion of profile you apply for CSS 2016 at final step.

Do we have to make new profile altogether ? Or are we supposed to register from same old profile of last year ?

But when we will be creating new profile we need to enter our NIC no. which is going to be same obviously in old profile too so isn't it going to be rejected ???

Are you sure ? because when i opened the page my old username and password are pre-filled there(which is why i am curious) though i haven't logged in yet with that id.

Try to log in without registering... you won't be able to log in...

Pre-filled data is result of auto-fill enabled in your browser that might have your old user name and password saved.

do we need to first save then skip
