Default If you could give one advice to candidates of CE-16,what would it be?

Respected seniors,
All of you have put in lots of effort for the exams in the previous years. I am sure you have learnt a lot and gained great insight from your experience. If you could share just one advice with candidates of CE-16 what would it be?
It can be anything regarding preparation, attempting paper, general expectation etcetera.
Looking forward to some great responses!

I haven't appeared in exams myself yet,but I will share the advice that was given by my friends who have qualified I.e Writing practice is the key to success. You should try to solve past papers and work on formulation of outline especially for Essay.

There is no need to take a loudspeaker and tell the whole world that you are appearing in this exam, keep it secret.

Do as much hard work as you can! The first 3 days of exams would be most exhausting ones but don't lose hope and keep in mind that every aspirant is passing through same stage.

The day you leave the examination hall after your last paper, start believing that you are not going to clear this exam and it was nothing but the biggest gamble of your life! You can expect 10-20 marks in precis, essay or islamiat papers even if your performance was outstanding & at the same time you can expect 70+ in the subject in which you consider your performance was below average.

If you pass, well done! If you don't, no need to curse your life and luck etc, don't consider you are loser, dumb or useless. Why? Because it was not a competition but just a gamble. There is no standard, no criteria, FPSC follow just one policy - "targeting policy." (Essay, Eng & Isl being the most vulnerable ones). So! Never never neverrrrrrr expect that you will pass.... just pray in hope of some miracle. You can win with the power of prayers only.

You should always have some Plan B as well.

Good luck to all CE 2016 soldiers

PS: No offence to anyone. Audience is specifically CE 2016 aspirants and intentions are absolutely pure!

Loved the first tip that there is no need to tell the world as the saying goes "work hard in silence and let the success make the noise"
Best of luck!

I have learnt one lesson from my failure.

Focusing on writing skills. We can improve it by reading editorials.
Plz take 3-4 points from editorial and rewrite in your own words. You will see a lot of difference in your approach to write. This will be much helpful in essay writing

Since you asked about expectations, I will advise you to keep them very very low. Don't risk your career for this exam because it is unpredictable. But some really good advices can be found in posts made by Cogito, Samadwrites, Monk and some other users. Mind you that we failed!

My post about advising prayers was deleted three times by moderators (probably Last Island), I hope it is not deleted again.
