Even some aspirants who prepare with full zeal for the exams decide not to appear. in overall from the above 9,642 i guess serious candidates would be around 4 to 5k? (Just assuming)

Karachi is the largest and most populous city in Pakistan and 7th most populous urban city in the world, but only 1000 candidates have appeared from this city. i am little bit confused about this

From my understanding, this has to do with the CSS-culture. In Punjab, CSS is a very popular 'event'. Competition in Punjab is also therefore, intense.

I think this time Précis & Compo paper will be put to the slaughter in the compulsory. While IR & Political Science will also be low scoring.

Trend could be change this time. Instead of hitting any compulsory ir and political science would be targeted.

Essay paper is the easiest to target though.

Even if you get an F, you can't say for certain if your essay was up to the mark or not to being with.

As for any other subject, you can be a gold medalist and can know for certain there was an error in paper-checking.

Just my thoughts.
