Default Css-16 total aspirants number?
I had heard that total candidates for css-16 was less then previous year. Total candidates might be below 10k. Well if someone have any information kindly do share it.

According to fpsc newsletter 9642 candidates appeared out of 20717.

9642 only, wow! Now, let's remove all the girls at my centre who had come only for the experience. The number was very high here in FSD but I still think we should put it at 25-30 %. Do you agree?

agreed. same here in my centre. majority of the boys had come only for fun.... they were not serious. I thinks only 10% of the candidates were serious in their attempt. but this happens almost every year

Wow, 9642 is prolly the lowest in years.

I think a lot of candidates of ce-2015 were discouraged with their marks in the essay paper. Hopefully, they'll give it another try.

According to the information above, this trend was foreseen already. Combining that with the introduction of a totally new syllabus and abrupt Essay paper marking for 3 years in a row, CSS lost a lot of its credibility (toppers failing or people with 800+ marks failing in essay paper).

Hopefully this year the results will be reflective of an inclusive policy whereby around 700-800 people pass the exam and 100+ seats are not left empty at the end of the final result.

The number of people actually appeared is too damn low
