I worked really hard for it then. Not that I was bad at writing. I just didn't make a good outline. And I worked really hard to change that despite of the shortage of time for 2012 attempt. I made it that year.

Ce 2016 was important for me. I wanted to test myself and prove my mettle. Had I failed I'd have made an issue outa it. It's, but natural as I am fully cognisant of my essay writing skills. I know my strengths and weaknesses. To blame all the failed candidates is easy, to comprehend and feel their agony is difficult. I know how mad I was at the fpsc for badly checking my essay in 2011.

However, all is well that ends well. For those who have chances: there is still hope. You need the right direction and for that you first need to knw where did you go wrong. Hone your writing skills, know how to attemt css papers, and know whether css is for you or not.

For those who had 2016 their last chance to be a part of Pakistan's bureaucracy: there is so much more you can do. Seriously! My life ended when I couldn't make it to the medical college after f.sc.. I never knew there was more for me in future. God has His plans. We are short sighted and myopic. Trust me!

Allah o Akbar! 4 years is too much. Css isn't a degree!

1st attempt-6 months
2nd- 1.5 months

Each one of is different. And our hardwork should be properly directed. We have a different Base and learning stage. Some people need more time to prepare. Some need less. Nothing to worry about.

2013 was just busy preparing for the interview and psych tests.
2014 - training at CSA. You can't prepare.
2015 - fpoe in January. So couldn't prepare or appear during and after stp.
For 2016 I had to take leave right before the exams. You can say I had 2 months in hand to revise old things plus learn and comprehend new. This time I didn't work for essay or any other subject. In fact when you are in service and into job you don't feel like preparing at all... it's the repetition of same old things. I don't rote learn so i get tired of old subjects and topics.

I hope this was helpful.

Yes,it hurts to fall down but mainly due to people around.

For the beginners, don't be afraid of anything at all.Go ahead.Try thrice if you couldn't make in first attempt.Because only then you wouldn't have regret of "never trying" the whole life.

It's over for me! :-)
I thought you had bidden farewell to CSS but this post shows you were still fighting in the battle ground. Your commitment deserves appreciation.
Wish you all the best for life beyond CSS.

Meme the way you use to give references of different books with page number when we were solving the sentence errors here on CSS Forum I was sure about your success. Your knowledge was extraordinary.

Dr Samman last year you scored highest among the failed candidates. You could have got position in Pakistan with those marks if they hadn't targeted the Essay paper.
This year I was praying for the success of few CSS Forum members and you are one of them. Hopefully you will get first position in Pakistan this year.

AoA everybody.
I, among many other written qualifiers, felt the need to have a separate thread/group where we can share our experience and get to know other fellow qualifiers. After all we'll be interacting with each other in upcoming tests, so it would be better if we start first hand. For this purpose I've created a Facebook group. All CSS 2016 written qualifiers are welcome to join it.
It is not allowing me to post the link, however the group name is "CSS 2016 Written Qualifiers"
