Is life all about CSS?
certainly no
Worked Hard and Failed?
No problem at least you were in the game..

I was not fully prepared and was much over confident. Relying on luck all the time. The lesson i got is luck will never favor you until you work very hard.

What I personally consider the gravest mistake I did was not to do enough writing practice before exams. Since I prepared the majority of the syllabus via Ebooks and online sources I had absolutely no writing practice. Although I had properly made notes in hard form and were very well prepared and well written, the speed issue was not tackled while making them (bulleted or summary notes). Eventually from the first paper of essay, I found my hand lingering. Consequently, despite all my efforts to complete the papers, I ended up leaving 1 whole question (one and a half in IR and gender studies) in many papers because time was up.

So this is something I would suggest everyone out there that with other things, the handwriting and the handwriting speed does matter. Although my handwriting is often praised by people, the speed is terribly slow. Now the papers that I cold not pass due to 5,6 or even 10 marks are the papers I could have qualified if I had completed all questions well in time.

I think this is one of the major factor (along with many others) that I could not qualify. But failures are nonetheless the best teachers and I consider my own weaknesses and faults to have brought this day to me. Blaming none and up for CE17.
Alhumdulillah always :)

i dont know about my result but i worked hard. it was dec 2014 when i decided to prepare for css 2016. from css forum i took an idea about it and then bought books required for preparation. i made my own notes after getting through whole books like of geo, ish, p.a, c.a, t.p, eco, es etc.
i did about 5 revisions and in revisions kept on updating notes. i solved all preics paper of 20 years (only precis), it was my mistake bec i need to solve complete papers. i also worked on outline of essays and made 24 essays outlines from which 4 essays were in paper, but i not wrote even a single essay. that was too my mistake. one problem is my poor handwriting also. my writing speed is good but writing is poor.
i used to study 6- 8 hours a day but when exams were near i used to study more than 12 hours. in ramzan i covered two subjects. i also used to read dawn but only opinion pages.
i think i might be failed in essay and precis. let see what will happen?

my story of ce 2016

okay guys chillax. Better luck next time to all of us. so my story is like this. prepared for 4 months without academy and relied on self study only.didn't focused on writing practice at all that is why i flunked precis by 9 marks but strangely passed essay. overall i am happy with my first attempt getting a combined score of 651(including precis marks) khair dosto fikr na karo IA jis ke qismat mein hua wo kamyab lazmi hoga.

My story ends here

I left good job in Dec; I studied 10 to 14 hours daily; I isolated my self from everything; No friends, no facebook, no phone. I tried to not leave any stone unturned to pass this exam. But here we go, I am shattered.
