dear i havent studied tp earlier but i have studied env sc. i found similar topics in both of the subject thats why i choose it. the book i mentioned earlier was published few months before exams and i made notes from that book and got good concept for almost 80% topics. that book was enough for me to score that marks.

Dear all, kindly do not opt for this subject it can prove to be a nightmare for you if you are a genuine aspirant.
People like Sana Rasool and others have failed this subject even after scoring outstanding marks in other subjects, hence, better to be safe and stay away from this butcher like subject...

Thanks. How many figures, table and diagrams did you make in your paper?
You made outline for in the beginning of your answers?

That's exactly what I am concerned about. TPUM has a really simple and straightforward syllabus yet this year's scoring trend shows the opposite.

What exactly does a paper checker expect in this subject?

A very good question. Are making tables, diagrams and chart necessary in this subject?

Well it's quite clear if you ask me. Lets say I ask you this question Urbanization –is it a curse or blessing? Explain your answer with example in both cases.(2016) While this may seem like quite a easy question, this is where things start to fall apart. I don't know how candidates attempted this question or what sources they referred to for preparing the subject. A clear picture of their preparation and attempt may shed light for their failure, but it seems everyone is so taken aback that they are not willing to discuss on this matter.

It is indeed an easy question. You take one side, either say that urbanization is a blessing or, it's a curse. Whichever side you choose, you defend that with arguments and data.

You are right about anyone not sharing anything. 1100 candidates opted for TUPM, yet almost no one is coming forward to share their experience.

That would be a wrong approach for this is not an essay paper. There is only one true answer to this question: urbanization is a blessing provided that it is managed or sustainable (this is what makes urbanization either wanted or unwanted) in a suitable way with certain approaches (these can then be discussed at length). If not managed it will certainly create cities and regions of conflicts of many kind (these will then be discussed at length). It's a curse as in cities where transportation patters are encouraging car dependency. This will make a community with social, environmental, and economical problems. Why is it a blessing? Needs of the communities may be catered with organized/anticipated/managed urbanization. You can provide for public with less investments in infrastructure. Biggest example is cities are engines of economic growth, and not the rural areas.
