Just take it as a chance and do not spoil your career for it. Its gambling. Work hard for it but do not compromise on your profession.

I've recently come back from abroad to prepare for CSS exams. I had to freeze my semester. Nonetheless, I think you should be able to prepare from abroad. The CSS syllabus now requires well-researched material instead of conventional local printed books. Shouldnt be a problem for you bro !
