Can we pass with bad MCQ marks?
Hi,
I hope I am just being nervous here but some seniors told me that even if you do well in subjective portion, the examiner will fail you if you do poorly in the MCQ (20 marks) section. Is this true? Can someone pass by doing well in the subjective portion and only get 7-10 MCQs correct? Because how else does one study the Pakistan Affairs and Current Affairs MCQs which are so specific and trivial, such as dates/numbers of events and author names of semi-famous books? |

In my first attempt, I managed to pass 10 papers where I relied on guess work for mcqs of all the papers. The examiner doesn't fail you but right mcqs can give a boost to your score.

yes you can get through every subject without preparing MCQs or performing not well in MCQs ,but it is very hard to pass Precis and Comprehension paper without good marks in MCQs i.e. based on synonyms and antonyms.
I will advise you to study GRE 3500 words and download vocabulary apps from Play store. Download all the vocabulary apps from play store. After analyzing all the apps select 2-3 apps that are in line with your mode of study. Please do not forget to download "VOLT" app for vocabulary section. All the best! |
