Hi There,

Can someone please have a look on the below.

I qualified the senior auditor written portion in merit quota. My interview was held in may 2021. i was able to answer 80 percent of the professional questions but i was unaware that general knowledge questions can be asked in this interview as well. so unfortunatly i didnt cover the general knowledge portion in my interview preperation. Even when i was unable to answer a very basic question on general knowledge. chairman sahab asked Pakistan kab azad huwa. i smiled (on a very lighter note) and said sir 14th august 1947) and then he asked some very basic questions of pakistan affairs) and when i said sir actually 2 days ago when i received the interview call letter i came to know on reading the letter that the candidates are required to have basic knowledge about the pakistan and current affairs. Chairman sahab said beta phir bhi pata hona chahye then i said g sir ap thk keh rahy hay main InshaAllah next time isy cover karun ga. then chairman sahab ka lehja thora naram ho gaya and aur aik question k answer pay unhon nay kaha chalo beta apni taraf se he bata do. then aik question jo last ma unhon nay pocha mainy apni taraf se woh ghalat bataya and then he said thank you. ma is time tak kafi worried ho gaya tha but mainy eye contact loose nahi kiya aur overall jawabat apni taraf se nahi diye jo sahi pata tha bas usi k jawabat diye baqi ma mainy sorry sir keh diya tha.

overall interview ka startup jo chairman sahab se general job related aur personal baton pay huwa aur baqi dono panel mambers se interaction acha raha i remained confident but not over confident. bas interview k last wala jo part end ma chairman sahab k pass ma ata ha woh General knowledge ma weak gaya.


My question is there are chances for my selection or not as i barely answered two to three questions from the general knowledge section.

your comment would be helpful for me in developing an understanding of the scenerio. JazakAllah

I also have given interview of senior auditor in September, it was just OK not as good as it should be. Your interview also looks like didn't go upto the mark, still it depends on panel how they gonna evaluate it. Hope for the best, anything can happen don't loose your hope. They will take round about one year until final recommendation.
