Depends on the relevant recruitment post.

If it's a subject specialist post, like an Engineer or Law specialist, then their questions are limited to the candidate's background, degree, general knowledge, IQ and the organization etc.

However , if its a general post for which different degree holders are eligible to apply, then it's a General Knowledge, Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs etc based questioning. Examples of such posts are AD FIA, Inspector IB, etc etc
