I would like to request that you people should pray for my success in the attempt I have just given. Result of written exam is expected to be announced on 20th November 2005. Although my target is Foreign Services but I will be happy to get any ministry this time and I will surely avail my third attempt to join Foreign Services and be a Diplomat.
For the benefit for all aspirants if any one is interested to answer the above written questions related to GK, it will so nice of him/her.

I may miss one or two questions as mostly they keep a style of discussion.

All the best to you all,

In need of your prays,
Sajid.

Latest Interview!

Salam!

As I have mentioned earlier the emphasis is on current affairs and only a few questions from optional subjects. There are no questions from Every Day Science as I know up till now. Try to focus on the current situations and the interview is started from the psychological and then they expand the questions as according to one's personality, Hope you get the point,

All the best,
In need of your prays,

Sajid.

Final Interview oF CSS2005(Forum Member) :

Time alloted to each candidate is almost 20 to 30 minutes or sometimes they exceed with that....it all depends on the interview panel.

The interview is based on questions related to your personal self, your optional subjects .current issuesetc. The main thing which the panel judges is your confidence, your composure etc.

In my case they never asked me anything related to any of my subjects.Just asked me about recent happenings in palestine issue and the rest of the questions were pretty strange to me.......which i never expected....so if anyone of you will go to interview just be prepared for anything.....

I will mention few parts of my interview....which are really distubing me .....
The first different question was .....what do you think about Migration?

Is it a good thing ?
What is Illegal Migration?
Is this a good thing too????
And i have never imagined that in my life the exact defination of migration and its related issues.....but somehow i replied them!!!!

The next question was what is Apartheid ? How Nelson Mandela succeeded in eliminating it???? And again i wasn't prepared for that.....that how he did it !!!!

Then he asked me about the palestine issue and asked the same thing thrice in different words...that what exactly US wants from Hamas.....i still wonder why he did so as i was repeating the same reply ....and i was right too....probably he was trying to confuse me.

Then they asked about the geographical statistics of US ,Saudi Arabia...believe me i never had in my mind that out of all other questions they will ask me about teh exact figures related to population etc...

Again he asked me what is Marathon? Why it is 26miles ?

and u know what they even asked me when is the independence day of Pakistan.....and i am still wondering that perhaps i was replying them in such a dumb way that they were bound to ask me such an easy question.....

And yes they asked me that why USA is focussing much on Pakistan when we have a low GDP rate as compared to India....and when i said that i believe US has other strategical interests in our region and they are not focussing on our GDP ....he refuted my point that NO every country focusses on GDP.....and again i was speechless..... but still i once agian said that not in case of Pakistan ,US is here for other reasons etc...........

So in the end...unfortunately i don't think that my interview went well as these were entirely unexpected questions and i don't see any chance that i will be able to make it to the end because of my expected low score in interview

Salam Hamid,
Believe in Allah and do not worry, YOu do not know that what happens to others there. They ask questions from different areas even one cannot predict about the topics for questions.
You may know that there are many persons who came much confused after the interview but got very good score. No body can judge any result from the impressions of such senior penalists. So do not worry and pray to God, InshAllah it will work and you will be CSP!

All the best and Best of luck,

In need of your prays,
Sajid.
