When is the interview of CSS-2009 expected?
What is the next step after the written part?
How to make a good preparation for the interview?

i suppose, like the previous year, they'll first conduct the psychological test, medical test and interview in balochistan. if it is so, the psychological tests will be conducted in balochistan about 3 weeks from today. then they'll take the medical test of all written qualifiers. finally they conduct the interview. last year, they came to sindh from balochistan.

i wonder they've yet to appoint a chairman of fpsc. who will head the panel?

how much time u incurred in the prepartion of css.hw u have
managed ur english subjects i mean ur english language ameloration..usually hw many hours u have fixed for preparation in each day.
plz give me some good tips for enhancement of my wirtten skills. i mean hw can i improve my written skills coz css is all abt ur written skills.

If FPSC follows the previous schedule, the future events will be in this order.


1.Psychological tests and iterviews in Baluchistan.
2.After Baluchistan the Team will come to NWFP and here they will start with FATA candidates first then NWFP candidates; During this time both psychological and interview will be conducted.
3.After NWFP they will proceed towards SINDH.
4.After sindh LAhore.
5.And lastly they will conduct the same process in Islamabad.

They might mix the schedule of Islambad and Lahore.

May i know the answers to the following questions?


1) what sort of pyschological test would be conducted? types? and order of these tests?

2) Can the interview panel ask questions relating to Graduation degree, MA degree? optional subjects? or they would focus on Current issues?

3) How much time can the interviewers take in 1 interview? (average time)?


4) when interview in Karachi centre in expected??


plz answer these questions sooner as we all are waiting for ur prompt replies...

By the grace of ALLAH almighty i have qualified for interview.
I have some questions and need help of seniors.
1. Which books do you consider good for interview preparation besides famous newspapers and Tv channels????? Or the books, you later realised that they should be studied for interview??????
2.Should we also go for the revision of our optional subjects???? I mean does the panel ask questions related to our optional subjects.
3. What is your personal opinion. What are the rewarding tactics in interview....????

1. Psyclogical tests will be conducted in 2 days.

Day first.
On the first day you will be given different papers having psychlogical and intelligence type questions with short and multiple choice answers you have to compelete thoses papers.......for this you buy a book of psychlogical tests by bhatti publishers or doggars.

Also you have to write your autobiography in around 7 minutes.
you have to complete a bio data form also.

Try to write the truth in all forms and papers; also for these tests time will be very short so try to b a bit quick.

Here you have to write your favt 3 books, favt 3 personalities etc so prepare it in advance.

Day 2.

on day two the first task will be two group discussions one in urdu and one in english.

after group discussion next is command task. Here you will be given a position like DPO,DCO, AC etc with a problem. you will be the head of the remaining group who will be ur subordinates and you have to make streatigies for the solution of that problem with the help of ur subordinates.
Every one will have to perform command task.

Next. after command task is Psychological interview.
Here u will appear before the psychological team for interview. Mostly they will ask questions related to what u have written in those psychological tests or done during your group discussions and command task. Also they can ask any type of questions relating to current affairs your intrests etc.
With this the psychological process over.
Now you will appear for Final interview before the FPSC chairman and pannel.

Q.2 In interview u have to expect any type of questions.

Q3. Averege time 25 or 30 minutes but it depends. It might be 15 minutes or 50 minutes.
my psycological intervw time was 45 minutes and final interview 40 around.

Q4. Interview in karachi will start after baluchistan and NWFP.

Dear try to revise your optional as you may be be asked acedemic questions also.
Pakistan Foreign Policy a repreaisl by Shahid.M.Amin is a good book do read out it. it is published by Oxford publisher. It helped me alot in interview.

Also be honest and clear in intervivew it will be helpful. Avoid bluffing and keep it in mind that those asking u questions knows more than u.

I am sure you all will enjoy all this process.
