Default Do we need Security Clearance from agencies other than IB ?
Hi All the written qualifiers of CSS are cleared by the Intelligence Bureau as a routine process before their appointment/allocation. I want to ask whether there is any other clearance from the other departments such as Police, CID, etc?
Seniors are requested to guide please.

there will be a routine visit by a policeman or a person from fpsc to your home for routine investigation.its a formality if one has provided right information.
that will be done soon or would have already been done
no need for clearance from other agencies as above mentioned steps are completed

Yes clearance from Police is mandatory.Police verification consists of two parts,
one from Special Branch and other from concerned DPO of District.

The routine scrutiny is still happening. Verification from differnt departments like CID, Special Branch, is still going on, as told to me by one of my mate.

very true. As these days the Special Branch is conducting investigation of Candidates who were interviewed for CE 2010

is this investigative clearance process due for all 638 candidates or for selected top possibly to be allocated candidates?
