About Favourite Personalities?

Hello,

I want to know, how many (min and max) favourite personalities do we have to mention in the psychological test?

More importantly, do they have to be living, or they can also be those who are dead by now? For instance, I am sure people would have citied Jinnah as theirs.

No doubt Jinnah and Bhutto (including a few others) were legend personalities and they should be mentioned if asked, wait for seniors suggestions..

Every year trend of asking personalities is different. To be on safer side, it is better to work on two living personalities and two expired.

Don't assign excessive time to personalities and books. Plan your schedule for preparation of your subjects, personal questions, current affairs, career related questions, and psychological test practice. This planned schedule may guide you about the time allocation to personalities and books.

Cross questioning depends upon the debatable nature of the personalities and books, if the personality is somewhat controversial then more questions can be expected.

Excessive questions are raised two situations: 1) When your favorite personality is a controversial and hated by the panel. 2) When your favorite personality is dearer and favorite to any or all of the panel members.
Lesser questions are raised in a situation when panel neither likes nor dislikes your favorite personality (Panel is indifferent).
Questions on personalities and books are often asked but it is not the case with every candidate. Some candidates are lucky enough to find question from interviewer and psychologist on the personalities and books while others don't find this opportunity. This is mainly dependent on the appealing nature of your selected personalities and books. If your selection appeals and gains the attention of the panel you will be asked about these.

Selection of personalities varies from candidate to candidate. There are some candidates who keep their parents as their favorite personalities but there needs to be justified, convincing, and persuading logic behind that selection. Your favorite personality should possess some praise worthy traits to assess your caliber and direction.

FPSC keeps on changing the personality selection criteria from time to time, wait for the first group who can tell you this year's requirement. Sometimes alive personalities are required and at times expired. Some times 2 national and 2 international personalities are required.
