Salam! You Need To Be Confident; This Is The Foremost Thing. English Skills Are Also Necessary along With Good General Knowledge.
There's Nothing Hard And Fast About The Language. It can Vary, I Think.... |

Some of the interview panel members of CE-2008 asked questions in urdu medium from various candidates.
PSP Arif Rao (37th Common) was also one of those candidates who responded them in urdu because most of the questions were asked in urdu medium. You should be fully prepared for english medium. However; interview panel can adopt any medium.

psychological interview is usually taken in the language in which the panel considers the candidate more cmfortable coz they want to assess the personality of the candidate.however the final interview is mostly cndected in english. but den again they r more interested in seeing how confident the candidate is rather then checking his grammer mistakes.

Interview takes place after the written test and the interview panel asks you questions in English and Urdu languages. You raise the question! Will interview be taken in Urdu language or all in English? So in my opinion there will be usage of both languages English and Urdu. You know the organizations are rapidly developing around the world and they need candidates who have full command on both English and Urdu as well. Another important think keep in mind that the official government and business language in our country is English.

dear according to my interview experience they can shift to urdu but it doent mean that u need to switch your code as well....and it is my suggestion to all the aspirants that keep one thing in mind if you dont knw the exact answer, dont answer it,one can simply excuse...one should be sure about the facts one is putting infront of the panel...they know who you are and your personality...be the way you actually are...never ever pretend...be very humble in explaining you stance or answering them....yet on the very same time your shoulder movement should be very strong ....one thing everyone keep in mind that in interview more then knowledge they check your responsivness....that how you take a pause...what is your body language....hw you pass a smile if they cut a joke...hw you open the door....if door is on your left side never ever open it with right hand one is suppose to open it through left hand...never give a bad first impression....dont drink too much water before interview....dress code and colour of dress is equally important for male and female....revise your optionals which you opted........focus on your personality before interview.....your shoes should not make noise.....dont do anything new before interview...like a hair cut or contact lense etc...before sitting on chair dont ask their permission wait ...they will ask you to sit down then dont drag the chair lift the half cahir and pull it outside,,then sit on chair from your left side..then when you are donr lift the chair again and push it inside exactly where the chair was....remeber push and pull formula........best of luck

Dorothy: you share the fantastic information, but one question raises in my mind that is the interviewer judge all the things which you discussed above. We can do all these things only for impress the interviewer or he/she give some extra points on that.

Dear believe me they all notice your body language and responsivness, which ultimately made your first impression....in panels mind............i have met ppl with outstanding knowledge scoring very low.....and the things i have mentioned i learnt from very senior officers in and out of pakistan......and if any of the aspirant have any question or confusion regarding interview they are most welcum to ask.....
