Mostly in interview black shoes are preferred. If you are going to appear in white Shalwar Qamees with black vest-coat then you must have a black shoes too with white socks.
If you are going to appear in pant and shirt then be sure that the color of all leather wearing is matching. For example: If you're wearing black shoes then you must have black belt and wrist watch also should be in black belt(if it is belt/leather) but if wrist watch is of chain then no problem of color but must be decent. Socks should be of same color as pant.

P.S. Be sure that the dress in which you're going to appear in interview is used before one or two times. It should not be the first wearing because first wearing leaves bad impact on interviewers by its new shine of being new.

Default Interview dressing

Dress a little more than usual for the company and the place, or dress the same or more than the recruit manager and/or the people you plan to see.

You should dress too well — it lacks appreciation, so it won't be a label on you to dress poorly.

A guy with a suit and tie (at least a sports coat, shirt- and slacks all fresh from tomboy clothing stores), for a traditional place in industry, while for a lady it's complimentary. Either trendy, but not provocative. * For both.

A good approach to all business attire in all settings is to “dress for the position you want.”

*Never forget about shoes (and socks, for guys): they should be appropriate to the rest of the clothes, and clean and neat, as well.
