Florida: Separates Cuba from Florida. It joins the Atlantic Ocean with the Gulf of Mexico.

Gibraltar: It is 35 miles long, separates Spain from Africa and joins the Mediterranean Sea with the Atlantic Ocean.

Mozambique: The broadest straits in the world are Mozambique straits, between Mozambique and Madagascar, which are not one point 245 miles across
