Dont we beleive in it? as a muslim i think we all must believe in it. Allah decided my Rizk in PAS so i will get it either RBD is happy or not with my written score. Likewise if Allah has decided my Rizk in any other group then RBD will act accordingly to help me reaching to that specific place. I dont know how we ignore this ALLAH'S WILL FACTOR. I am sorry but this really goes this way and RBD and all are just the part of the game to execute the plans of ALLAH, which are the best without any doubts. thanks a lot for reading the whole post of mine and please now stop complaining as many are still ready to have post in Railways even to be called CSP. Well this is an interesting debate, until now i myself has not been able to figure how they judge people during interview, but i personally think psychological test has a "psychological impact" on the panel. It provides them background of the candidate at least. Honestly, my written score is pretty average, but it has nothing to do with my intelligence level because i couldn't prepare well. My psychological however, was v good, I answered all the questions well and projected myself as an enthusiastic and "optimistic" person. And guess what, they asked me about Pakistan painters and European painters during psychological interview and a lot about fine art, creativity vs, wisdom. Obviously i loved these questions becz i had been a fine arts student. Then my interview had "15" questions from English literature. I did tht well as well.
You need to be versatile, don't forget tht u r there to get a job and not just telling them list of facts. |

i wont blame the interviewers. they asked very easy questions. it was i who was not prepared. i know my weakness and thats what i worry about in css. iam worried about the written papers but more than that iam worried about the psychological and the interview because consulting the past papers gives me an idea about the questions but interview is quite different, instant questions from any subject and a quick answer Besides , the objective of both the tests is different. in written they test your knowledge while in interview they test your knowledge as well as verbal abilities, interpersonal communications etc. |

i havent read the whole thread but i feel that people who have got good marks in interview are loving and admiring the penal and others who could not get or their loved ones could no get good marks are criticizing.
As far as i am concerned i think i had committed ablunder by writing a joke on president of pakistan so i got only 120 where as i was very good in group discussion, command task, all candidates kept me in top 3. But panel just hated my joke so they gave me so less marks that with score of 682 there should not be any chance of my allocation. well i must accept my blunder even though i feel that punishment was too strict !! haha but thats what CSS is all about! Though a friend of mine could not even utter a single word in group trask and command task but had 180 in viva! yeah i was also told by Bhagwan das sb that psycologist has said that i m below average

Those who have scored well in interview must not boast for many people talented than them have failed or obtained depressingly less marks than them.They must be grateful to Allah for His munificence and benevolence.Indeed they deserve this glory yet how can we forget so many better people have been unlucky as they couldnt get good marks.

My Observation of Successful and Unsuccessful Candidates of Interview
As far as my experience is concerned,it was the psychological this year which played a decisive factor in interview marks.I have unshakable resolve that key to getting good marks in Viva lies in good psychological.I tried to behave gently and elegantly in Viva and portrayed myself as a genuine lover of art,humane,a book lover,gentle,compassionate,confident and optimistic fellow in my Psychological Viva and written.Besides,one must fill psychological traits forms intelligently and they must not depict that one possess a dual personality or one is attributing qualities to oneself which one never possess.
I had average written marks.Also my interview with Panel did not go well.Mian Sb and Saud Gohar Sb frowned at my answers.Geography was my subject and I was unable to answer anyone of four answers which RBD asked yet I obtained 208 marks.It happened as my psychological interview went exceptionally good and I handled all the questions very well which were thrown to baffle me. Holder of position No 11 which is blind fellow wrote in his form that one of his bad qualities was that he was a habitual drunkard !He performed with excellence in group task and gentlemen was honoured with 229 marks. A highly talented girl who got 685 in written got only 145 in interview.She performed brilliantly in command task and she possessed the best of conversation skills.Unluckily,she was not being given a chance to speak in group discussions and in a fit of disappointment and frustration she raised her hands while seeing panel.The act was done to imply that why she was not given the chance to speak and this particular act might have sealed the fate of exceptional candidate. Another friend who got very good written marks went so bossy in command task.His arrogant attitude was trembling on the margin of rudeness and all of us were astonished.He also got less score. Another candidate came late in both days and was taken to task by psychological panel. One must carry himself with elegance,passion,human dignity and confidence in psychological interview.30 to 40 minutes are too less for panel to judge and evaluate the caliber of candidate as he might be under stress and might perform less than his abilities.So panel is dependent on the reports of psychological panel who are expert psychologists and have observed the candidate for full two days. |
