The panel consists of 4 members and those who do not have economics in their graduation , are being outrightly disqualified . A friend of mine who went for interview today did not have economics . He was handed over the rejection letter and sent home. He was presented before interview panel but was given three to four minutes and then was said thanks and on leaving the room was given rejection order.

He even met the chairman and recorded his protest that why those who did not have economics were issued interviews letters .
But Chairman did not entertain his grievances .

As per add

QUALIFICATION:
i) B.A or
ii) B.Sc with Economics 2nd Division; or equivalent qualification.

so in principle BA with or without economics should be eligible.

Dear I have explained the things a little more in my above post. He even met the chairman but of no avail. Now what I think is that those who do not have economics should collectively meet the chairman and should convince him .

If those who did not have economics were not illegible , why on earth they were issued interview letters?
Why their precious time was wasted ?
Now my friend came from Mandi Bahauddin just for this interview .

Secondly among passed candidates , there are a little number of students who have economics background and there are chances of seats getting vacant.
Therefore , instead of letting seats going vacant , all the passed ones irrespective of there economics or non-economics background should be given fair chance.
