What's the meaning of Tor-Ghar?

my interview
 
here is my interview :unsure:

duration: 30-35 min

Chairman:

1. What happened in your PMS? (I passed it but wasn't allocated)
2. What are you currently doing?
3. till now, what you have done in your job?
4. This area (KPK+FATA) is full of intolerance. tell the causes and solutions. (his statement wasn't that simple. he kept on saying for a minute)
5. Causes of Education problem of Pakistan.

Mr. Mansoor

1. Journalism is your optional subject so let us start from there.
2. What is national press trust ? (sorry sir)
3. What is APP?
4. Its duties?
5. Its always been in control of the government. Why is that so?
6. Do you think that government should have control over media?
7. Does control of APP by government posses any threat over free media?
8. How can you say that it doesn't have any impact over media?
9. I think media is a private entity and government has to do nothing with the media.
10. No, press has to do nothing with the national interest of a country. Why a private entity should worry about national interest?
11. Why are you favoring societal model?
12. Don't you think that liberal model is better?

//and a dozen more questions on freedom of media. he had promised himself that he would go against my opinion.

13. In your opinion what is the most threatening aspect of corruption?
14. is corruption a threat?
15. You mentioned the statement of NAB chairman that Pakistan is loosing 7 billion per day. was his statement right? (he was asking in a sense that whether he should had given the statement)
16. pin point the one department on which curbing the corruption is vital?

1. Why you failed in your previous attempts?
2. What is the difference now. I mean what flaws you found in your early preparations?
3. A long statement regarding USA. Then a long statement about Iran. Why do you think that America is showing leniency towards Iran?
4. I think after Shale gas, usa is self sufficient in oil after discovery of shale gas.
5. you mentioned about iran's pre revolution era, Hassan ruhani, etc. , so how you perceive this relation?
6. why is Pakistan reluctant in doing trade with Iran?
7. how do you see iran and Saudi relation?

15. the current ongoing talks between Taliban and govt, should media highlight it? (discussion shifted to the authenticity of Taliban committee)
16. but wont it give complete knowledge to talibans?
17. so y public opinion is important in this context?
18. how public will is created?
19. What is the current govt's foreign policy in general?
20. Flaws in Pakistan foreign policy?
21. amount of informal trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan? (sorry maam)

1. What is the current kpk police problems?
2. how to remove trust deficit?
3. In Karachi liaison committee has been in for 20 years but hasn't been effective.
4. how can you say that the government is not backing police.
5. So what should the government do? (a sort of discussion started)
6. what is the total electoral strength of USA?
7. Explain the whole in detail.

When madam batool asked me Is pakistan a threat to international peace? I replied "No"and gave refrence of a gallup survey 2013 which says that USA is a biggest threat to international peace.After my reply there was a big laugh in room and all members including chairman started to laugh and said yes this survey was published. I could not understand their this response.

Interview 10:30 AM
I am the first to go in front of the panelist among my 7 group fellows
Chairman greeted and said have a seat miss after that he asked few questions such as
• As I am a lecturer, he asked me the no of students in my university.
• He asked the before having GSP plus status. Pak had to sign few treaties what are they?
• He asked me what is FORCED LABOUR?
• Another question regarding laws in British History, which I didn’t recall as I was hearing them first time (my optional related)
• That’s all from the Chairman side

Now the second panelist who asked me the questions was Mr Suhail Mansoor
• He first asked me to describe Media Policy?
• PEMRA?
• What changes it brought about in Pakistan? How differ from the previous policies?
• Describes PRESS LAWS in Pakistan, what are they??
• What is Print Line?

( as journalism was my optional)
Next, he asked me about literature related questions such as:
• Keats concept of Negative Capability?
• Why it is called Negative?
• He asked me to explain the quotation from Hamlet “TO BE OR NOT TO BE”
• What is the Tragic Flaw of Hamlet
( as I did my honors in Literature and Linguistics)


Next one was the Mam Batool
• As I am doing job in another city, so she asked me question on it that wont it is difficult to live away from home?
• Why you want to shift in your profession from teaching to civil service?
• Mukhataraa Maii Case…. Was what she did is right or wrong???, a lot discussion on this issue ( healthy and light discussion)
• Women Empowerment Bills Passed by PPP government? Name them
• She asked me are u changing the profession just to have power and authority??
( a good discussion on it and there are moments when all the panelists laughed, as discussion going on in lighter mood)

The last one is Mr Rana Wajid

• Explain the working of ICJ, how it is limited?
• What is the composition of ICJ in a sense any objection on it, and people don’t refer to it because they think it is biased??
• What are SECURITY COUNCIL REFORMS? And what is the stance of Pak on it?
• No. of questions on Civil Military Relationship and again on this topic very healthy discussion and again in lighter mood.
• He asked me why military take part in the making of National security Policy, it is the domain of Parliament?
• Do you like Dictators? I said not really, counter questioning but the lighter and interesting one as at some points we all laughed  
• He asked who gave the concept of United Europe.
• What is Belfast and Good Friday??

(as my optional are INTERNATIONAL LAW, BRITISH HISTORY, JOURNALISM AND PSYCHOLOGY)

The overall behavior of panelists was very warm, friendly and comforting, they won’t give tough time and in my interview we had occasions where we shared laughter in discussions.

Nice interview g. And informative also but few questions are tricky also.chairmain behave i think normal.more than 180 plus marks you secure.these types of questions mostly give 180 to 190 marks.overall excellent.whats your preference groug miss diya?

Most of girls like PAS group and many working as assistant commissioner efficently.Working within Pakistan mostly preffered these days.You are currently working as a lecturar may be your ideas are different from others. But my prayer from GOD you will be allocated according to your desired group.regards and also please please for my ce-2014 result.And always share your ideas on forum for everyone.Please tell me in free times how you prepare for css and its your first attempt? Have you join any acadmy for study? And how write eassy. I am quite hopefull for ce-2014 exam.
