A query regarding optionals

Aslamelikum!

I wanted to ask if a person hadn't chosen or does not choose even a single optional related to his/ her academic background, would that go against that person in an interview? Your response would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

There is no such a relation. :) Do not worry for the interview at this stage, concentrate on qualifying the written portion first.

Yes, you are right but I must plan accordingly. Are you sure about it? Actually, this question does bother me at times :/. So I wanted to know for sure.

There is no ground for presuming that interview will be affected by such a type of things . You should make your mind doubt free . It may be an obstacle which is diverting your attention from preparation .

You have to pass written first - focus on clearing it .

Yes, I am sure. :) There are plethora of examples of aspirants who opted for subjects irrelevant to their academic background and shined in the interview. Without any doubt go for the subjects you are good at and confident about and obviously they shall be scoring in nature.
